Intra-Client Counselling Competition

Client counselling competitions are an integral part of law school activities, designed to prepare students for the complexities of legal practice. These competitions provide a platform for law students to showcase their skills in understanding client needs, offering legal advice, and navigating ethical dilemmas.

The present competition is an Intra-client counselling competition, wherein students of the entire batch of 1st year as a Clients and 2nd year as an Advocates would compete. Participation in the same is mandatory for every student and their PSDA will be graded on the basis of their performance in the competition. Also, fourth and fifth year students would judge the competition.

Three client counselling propositions have been drafted based on their syllabus and each class of first year would be trained on one proposition. For their training which would be given by 4th and 5th year students, a workshop would be scheduled for them before the event, 4th of December is a tentative date for the same.

The competition would take place over two days and be divided into four rounds: preliminary, quarterfinal, semifinal, and final.
