A Brief note on SPARC
The Student Council of Media School, DME, referred to as SPARC is the brain child of Prof. (Dr) Ambrish Saxena, Dean, Media School. SPARC stands for “Students with Positive Attitude and Resonating Communication”.
Set up on Aug 26, 2019, SPARC was created on the premise of providing a platform and opportunities for the holistic growth of students. It aims at empowering the students with a sense of responsibility towards the Institution and fellow students and to ensure congenial atmosphere on campus and off campus for the overall growth of students.
SPARC believes in creating leaders for tomorrow and instilling students with positive attitude and positive energy.
In the past two years of its existence, SPARC has been active in organizing events and sessions to create awareness and to sensitize students on various issues affecting the student’s community. SPARC has been regularly raising concerns on issues like Drug abuse, environment conservation, child labour through its platform.
SPARC over the last one year has also been instrumental in celebrating great personalities and noted leaders of the country like Swami Vivekananda, Mahatma Gandhi, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Munshi Prem Chand, who have left their mark on the life of our nation.
As a student body, SPARC has successfully created a niche for itself amongst the students as an association devoted to the cause of the student community. The journey of the SPARC so far has been inspirational and experiential for the members. Even the Covid has not been able to deter and dampen the spirits and enthusiasm of the SPARC members who have strived to achieve the best in their efforts.
