CLIMATE CHAMPIONS-LOCALISE THE NET ZERO AGENDA
Climate change is a real problem with a palpable sense of damage to the air we breathe, the water we drink, the food we eat, and the shelter we live in. Globally, countries realise the urgency to take proactive measures and build response systems to prevent and minimise the risks posed by climate change.
TED countdown is dedicated to promulgating realistic solutions to net zero emissions and advancing ideas to build a collaborative climate community. It is our privilege to convene TEDxDMENoida as a Countdown event and join this bold global movement to tackle the climate crisis. DME Noida is proud to be a part of this initiative and contribute to educating, inspiring, and generating a deeper understanding of the climate crisis. In this endeavour, TEDxDME Noida aims to provide a platform to all dreamers, thinkers, and doers who have contributed and continue to help us to combat climate change and work towards making our environment a better place to live in.
We bring together creative leaders from various Indian Diasporas, facilitate discourse around climate change, and bring forward their stories to inspire and encourage many.
A net-zero future is possible. That’s why we’re hosting this gathering for politicians, business leaders, policy makers, scientists, indigenous leaders, artists, philanthropists, youth activists and others to organize and work together to make that future a reality.
