Vritika, a convention cum festival of media students organised every year in the month of October/November has entered in its 8th year in 2023.This two-to-three-day long event comprises a variety of competitions, discussions, and deliberations. This festivalinvites entries from colleges all over India.
Vritika focuses on the maximum involvement of students at all levels in organising an event targeted to learning with competitive zeal and spirit. It provides a platform to students for hands-on experience of event management. In BA (JMC), event management has been prescribed in the curriculum, and students study this subject in their fifth semester.
This convention cum festival inspires and motivates students to achieve milestones set and outshine in the crowd and gain practical experience of organising and managing an event.It is a unique concept to instill the momentum of being an achiever in the student and to work harder to outperform in becoming an achiever in organizing and managing an event. This youthful activity is about giving every student an opportunity to find out their area of interest and outshine in that field.
