Earth Day is an annual event to demonstrate support for environmental protection. Earth Day is celebrated to created awarness regarding our mother earth and to sensetise the people as to the reason for the protection of The Earth and its various resources.  Hence to commemorate The International Earth Day, DME Cine Treasures in collaboration with DME TATVA- Eco Club Society and NSS Unit, Community Connect Cell, are organizing a Movie Screening on 19th May, 2023. The title of the Documentary which shall be screend is "Garbage Matters - A Documentary on Solid Waste Management Issues in Delhi" will be screened in NM Hall from 02:00-03:00 pm onwards. This documentary titled "Garbage Matters - A Documentary on Solid Waste Management Issues in Delhi" is a documentary on your the solid waste management issues on the state of Delhi. This documentary by Vidhi highlights the mounting problem of disposal of municipal waste in Delhi, the implementation of Solid Waste Management Rules 2016, and various judicial interventions.
