G20 is a forum for international cooperation on economic, financial, and political issues, consisting of 19 countries and the European Union. The G20 members represent approximately 80% of global economic output and two-thirds of the world's population. They meet annually to discuss global economic governance and other important issues.
Y20 is a subset of the G20 and comprises youth representatives from the member countries, who meet to discuss issues relevant to the younger generation. ‘Y20 Talks’ aims to provide a platform for young people to express their views on various topics related to the G20 agenda.
The upcoming ‘Y20 Talks’ panel discussions are titled “Future of Work: Industry 4.0, Innovation & 21st Century Skills”. The panel discussions aim to provide a platform for young people to engage in dialogue with each other and policymakers on the important issues related to the themes of the discussions. It will also provide an opportunity for the Y20 delegates to make recommendations on how the G20 can address these issues in their policy-making process.
